THE NORTH END

Set in Boston’s “Little Italy” and made for under $100,000. The Ciota brothers’ critically acclaimed debut film premiered at the Montreal Film Festival and was the opening night film of the 1997 Boston Film Festival. 

After travelling the festival circuit, the film was released theatrically through National Amusements where it played to sold out audiences in Boston and Providence prompting National Amusements’ Shari Redstone to call it “the most successful independent film we have supported”.

Ambientato nel “Little Italy” di Boston e prodotto per meno di $100,000, il film indipendente, “The North End”, e` stato presentato all 1997bMontreal Film Festival dopodiche è stato scelto come il film di aperture per il Boston Film Festival dove ha ricevuto il riconosciamento dalla critica locale. 

In sequito ad un giro dal sul circuito “film festival” dove ha avuto il riconosciamento dela critica, “The North End”, è stato rilasciato nelle sale cinematografica delal National Amusements dove ha fatto il boom del “Box Office”. Il successo inaspettato dal film ha raggiunto anche I livelli dal top executive dal Viacom come Shari Redstone chi ha coronato “The North End” nientemeno del film indipendente più di successo che abbiamo sostenuto.
